We don’t collect or store your full card details. Payments are handled by Stripe.

How and why we use your information

UK data protection law requires a legal reason for each use of your information:

  • To provide what you’ve bought or signed up for: processing orders, taking monthly membership payments, giving you access to downloads and membership content, managing your account and sending order and membership emails. Reason: to perform our contract with you.
  • To answer your questions and give support. Reason: our legitimate interest in helping our customers.
  • To keep financial and tax records. Reason: legal obligation.
  • To protect the website from spam and misuse, for example through reCAPTCHA on our login form. Reason: our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.
  • To understand how visitors use the website, using Google Analytics. Reason: your consent, which you can give or refuse through our cookie banner.

We don’t sell, trade or rent your personal information, and we don’t send marketing emails without your permission.

Who we share your information with

We only share information with trusted services that help us run this website, and only what they need to do their job:

  • Hostinger: hosts our website and stores its data
  • Stripe (Stripe Payments UK Ltd): processes payments
  • Google: sends our order, account and membership emails (Gmail); Analytics (website statistics, with your consent), reCAPTCHA (spam protection), Search Console (search performance, which uses no personal data from visitors); and Google Drive (secure website backups)

Payments: Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments UK Ltd). Your card details are sent directly to Stripe and are not stored on our website. We receive limited information from Stripe, such as your name, email address, the last four digits of your card and the payment status, so we can manage your order or membership. Stripe also uses your information to prevent fraud and meet legal requirements. If you pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or Onelink, those services also process your payment information under their own privacy policies. You can read Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of these services, such as Google and Stripe, may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. When this happens, they use legal safeguards approved under UK data protection law to protect your information.

Stripe may process your payment information outside the UK, including in the United States, with appropriate safeguards in place.

How long we keep your information

  • Order and payment records: up to 6 years, for tax and accounting purposes
  • Account and membership information: while your account is active. You can ask us to delete it at any time, although we must keep order and payment records for the period above.
  • Messages you send us: up to 2 years, unless needed for longer
  • Website backups: kept for a limited period and regularly overwritten
  • Analytics data: kept by Google for up to 14 months

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device.

Essential cookies make the website work. They keep you logged in, remember your basket and keep checkout secure, including Stripe’s fraud-prevention cookies at checkout. They can’t be switched off.

Security cookies are used by Google reCAPTCHA on our login form to protect against spam and misuse.

Analytics cookies are used by Google Analytics to show us how visitors use the website, so we can improve it. These are only used if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the website may not work properly. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

Children

Our resources are designed for children, but accounts, purchases and memberships must be made by an adult aged 18 or over, such as a parent, carer or teacher. We don’t knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you think a child has given us their information, please contact us and we’ll delete it.

How we protect your information

We use secure HTTPS connections, protected file downloads, secure payment processing through Stripe, two-factor login on our accounts and regular backups. Access to customer information is limited to us. No online service can be completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of your personal information
  • ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • ask us to delete your information
  • ask us to restrict how we use it
  • object to how we use it
